FCC to vote on cable companies - 2006/12/18 04:12
It's about time the FCC considerers doing its job once again. We need to put an end to the era of deregulation in the media. The giants are going to continue to raise rates, and require us to get all of our services through them if we want to get an even remotely reasonable price.
It is true that there have been remarkable advances in technology in recent years, and cable subscribers do benefit from them, but there have also been amazing reductions in the cost of technology, and consumers should be seeing some of the benefits.
